I am actually thinking of starting to pen thoughts for a memoir someday. It would begin with my deafness until age 3, to my first LP purchase of Horowitz, lessons with Marcus, trials and tribulations of those lessons, competition wins and losses, writing choral music to soothe my soul. Finding a niche to get major works commissioned, recording unusual repertoire, finding a voice in the traversal of a career. It is wonderful to see Byron Janis, now an elder statesman of our musical world, composing his reflections.Jeffrey Biegelhttp://www.jeffreybiegel.comnoreply@blogger.com
